Dress Code

At Belliston Academy, we have a required dress code for all class types.

Our dress code teaches students discipline, helps with overall focus and teaches dancers the focus and respect that learning the art of dance requires. The dress code ensures that your child’s teacher will be able to see their students’ alignment and positioning. The teacher needs to be able to see a dancer’s lines since baggy clothing can mask bad habits, making improvement difficult. Our dress code also establishes a sense of comfort and community within our building.
