DANCIN’ IN THE ERA OF COVID-19
RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Thank you for your continued support in our school. As with the transmission of any communicable disease like a cold or flu, you may be exposed to COVID-19, also known as ‘Coronavirus”, at any time or in any place. The threat of COVID-19 is ongoing throughout the United States. In an effort to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19, the studio has transitioned to providing a hybrid of in-person and virtual dance classes. The determination about whether to engage in face-to-face services is based on current conditions and guidelines, which may change at any time.
Despite our careful attention to cleanliness, hand washing and personal space, there is still a chance that you could be exposed to an illness in our school, just as you might in a gym, grocery store or favorite restaurant. “Social distancing” nationwide has reduced the transmission of COVID-19. Although we have taken measures to provide social distancing in our school, due to the nature of the services we provide and the clientele we serve (namely children) it is not possible to maintain social distancing at all times.
We remain committed to following state and federal guidelines to limit the transmission of COVID-19 in our studio. Despite our careful attention to social distancing, disinfecting and other protocols, there is still a chance that you could be exposed to COVID-19 at our studio. By signing below, you acknowledge that although the exposure at our studio is unlikely, you understand the risk of exposure and nevertheless consent to in-person services at our studio under the conditions outlined above.
